All membership types require that the member is of good standing, has not been convicted of a felony or breach of trust unless rehabilitated, and commits to the basic statutes and regulations of the Kuwait Maritime Association.

An Honorary Member is a national or distinguished personality granted honorary membership in recognition of outstanding services and continuous support to the Kuwaiti maritime sector.

The association aims to enhance maritime awareness, empower maritime cadres, support future generations in maritime careers, and organize specialized professional workshops and conferences.
